Hits Galore: Brown Drills 5 Hits Monday, July 21st , 1913 Josh Brown had an answer for everything the Arecibo Cachorros threw at him at Parquecito de Bayamón. The Bayamon catcher went 5-for-5 in the game to put his name in the record book and give the Herradones a win, 9-3. Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, Brown said, "I just see the ball and I hit it."
