Sabana Grande Skunked by de Haas, 7-0 Saturday, August 30th , 1913 Juana Diaz hurler Wop de Haas put on quite a show, as he blitzed the Sabana Grande Tramantes with a 7-0 shutout. He baffled them with fastballs and changeups, allowing 8 hits with 7 strikeouts and 2 walks to pick up the win. "I think every time we were looking for a fastball, he threw a changeup and every time we were looking for a changeup, he threw a fastball," Sabana Grande manager Dave Nielsen told reporters after the game.
