Halbfinalen Goes the Distance, Stuttgart Prevails Wednesday, September 17th , 1913 It was a rousing finish to the Halbfinalen at Halbkugeln-Stadion today. The Stuttgart Vergaser sent the Magdeburg Halbkugeln home for the season with a 10-7 win in the decisive game of the series. The Vergaser took the series 3-2. Up next on their schedule is the Europaeischer Meisterschaft. Hauling in the MVP trophy was Stuttgart catcher Bartholomous Heffner. His numbers included a .421 batting average, 9 RBIs and 3 runs. "With any luck, I'll be hoisting another one of these at the end of the Europaeischer Meisterschaft," he said. The Stuttgart Vergaser will play against the Ljubljana Zmaji in the next round.
