Stuttgart Beats Ljubljana in Europaeischer Meisterschaft Friday, September 26th , 1913 This is the time of the baseball season when grown men are reduced to tears. This year, the Stuttgart Vergaser were shedding tears of joy and the Ljubljana Zmaji those of sorrow. The Vergaser topped the Zmaji today 4-3 at Vergaser-Stadion and locked up their 1st Europaeischer Baseballverband Europaeischer Meisterschaft championship, winning the series 4-2. "To come this far and leave empty-handed is not easy," said Ljubljana manager Muño Pacheco.
