Rosales Swings for the Cycle

It was a special day for Timón Rosales at XYZ Stadium -- the Meadville Zips right fielder hit for the cycle, getting every type of hit possible.
The 23-year-old Rosales racked up 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run to etch his name in the history books. It was all for naught, however, as the Zips didn't win the ballgame, dropping the decision to the Buffalo Hopper Boys, 5-3.
"He hit everything we threw," said Buffalo manager Diodoro Dagnino. "There was just no getting him out today."
For the game, he was 4-for-4 with 1 run batted in and 2 runs scored.
"I'm glad for Timón," Meadville manager Doc Landis said. "It's a once-in-a-lifetime thing and a nice feather in his cap. Would've been better if we could have won the game for him, too."
Speaking to the press after the game, Rosales said the key for his record-setting day was "just getting some good pitches to hit."
Timón Rosales hit a solo-shot off Tirso Magaña in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, tripled in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
On the year, Rosales is hitting .407 with 11 hits, 1 home run, 3 RBIs, .467 OBP and has scored 6 runs.
