Hopper Boys Rally For 7-6 Win
The umbrellas came out during the Buffalo-Meadville contest at XYZ Stadium.

In a tight contest at XYZ Stadium, the Buffalo Hopper Boys edged the Meadville Zips by the score of 7-6. Buffalo third baseman Ryan Donaldson, who blasted 1 home run, was a key contributor. Buffalo reliever Jack Pfiester was the winner. His record is now 1-0. The losing pitcher was Modesto Chávez.

Donaldson had a game-changing home run in the top of the ninth. On a 1-1 changeup from Modesto Chávez, he banged a 2-run home run to left, giving the Hopper Boys a 7-6 lead. It was the 1st home run of the year for Donaldson.

"Ryan was ready to go. Big day for him," said Buffalo manager Diodoro Dagnino.

Meadville falls to 2-6.
