Músquez Finishes Off Voyageurs, 6-4, for 100th Save
As he's done throughout his career, relief standout Absalón Músquez took the ball and got it done. The only difference - this save, which gave the Marquette Smelters a 6-4 win over the Grand Marais Voyageurs, was number 100 in his famed career. It's a milestone many dream about, but few reach, a fact that was hardly lost on Músquez as he talked with reporters after the game.

"I think back to when I was a teenager just hoping to get my shot in this game, and never did I think I'd be saving 100 games," he said. "It's truly an honor to achieve this, and I'm proud to put my name in the record books. I'm just glad I've had the opportunity to stick in the league long enough to accomplish this."

Músquez has 100 saves over his career with a 32-27 record and a 2.53 ERA.
