The Grand Marais Voyageurs topped the Superior Whalebacks, 13-7, at Ballpark by the Marsh. Grand Marais designated hitter Christopher Orme was a spark plug for the offense. He was 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 3. Néstor Contreras got the win, improving to 2-0. He pitched 5.2 innings, giving up 8 hits and 4 runs, while striking out 7 and walking 4. Marcos Gerena earned the save for Grand Marais, his 4th.

Grand Marais shortstop Luis Fernández made an impact. He drilled a run-scoring single in the bottom of the first. In the contest, Fernández went 2-5 with a double, while scoring 2.
