The umbrellas came out during the St Catharines-Sarnia contest at The Derrick.

Bill Latour knocked in 4 runs to help St Catharines beat Sarnia, 7-3. The St. Catharines, Canada native tallied 1 single and 1 home run. Jude Soucy, credited with the win in relief, is now 1-0. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1.1 innings.

St Catharines took a 4-3 lead on Pedro Guerrero's 4th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Guerrero hit in the top of the ninth, left Sarnia pitcher José Ramos visibly frustrated.

"It's nice to deliver when your team's counting on you," said Guerrero.

The win puts St Catharines at 7-14.
