The Duluth Zeniths easily defeated the Sault St. Marie Rapids, 16-3, at Peak Performance Park, with shortstop Divino Marcial a main contributor to the win. He went 4 for 5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 2 and driving in 5 for Duluth. Gabriel Pérez, credited with the win, is now 5-4. He allowed 3 runs on 10 hits in 9 innings. The Zeniths bumped their record to 20-15 with this win.

Marcial had a big hit for Duluth with no one out in the bottom of the sixth. With Duluth leading 8-3, Marcial hit a grand slam home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Zeniths up, 12-3.
