Hopper Boys Win Thriller, 6-4
The Buffalo Hopper Boys and the Meadville Zips played into extra innings before the winner was determined. The Hopper Boys won it, 6-4, in 13 innings. In the game, Buffalo third baseman Ryan Donaldson hit 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. The Hopper Boys, at 60-53, sit in second place in the Eastern Great Lakes Association League of Lake Erie.

The defining moment came in the bottom of the 13th for Buffalo. That's when Simon Laroche hit a 2-run home run off 30-year old right-handed pitcher Pedro Alfaro to win the game. The home crowd went wild.

"Banging out wins is what it's all about," said Donaldson.
