Pitcher Luis Flores was rock solid in helping the Fajardo Insolentes beat the Culebra Tortugas, 4-1. The first-place Insolentes improved to 49-35.

Rogelio Ginés had a big solo home run for the Insolentes in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Fajardo leading 2-1 and the bases empty, he got a fastball from Boanerges Alvarado and swatted a home run to left. It was his 2nd home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Insolentes ahead, 3-1.

Said losing manager Dylan Cummings: "Give the Insolentes credit. They played a better game than we did."
