Culebra and Toa Alta put this game in the books despite some rain.

The Culebra Tortugas locked up a win at Estadio Israel "Sabio" García, knocking off the Toa Alta Poetas, 4-3. On the mound for Culebra was right-hander Pirro Arias. He played a major role in the triumph. Premislao Soriano picked up the save for Culebra, his 18th of the year.

Culebra used a timely hit from Martín Cano to get the win. The pinch hitter stroked a 2-run double in the top of the seventh inning to put the Tortugas ahead, 4-3. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it made an impact.

"I liked our effort," said Tortugas manager Dylan Cummings.

With the win over Toa Alta, the Tortugas improved to 48-88.
