Saginaw Takes Interleague Series Thursday, September 25th , 1913 The Saginaw Joes proved to be the better team in the Interleague Series, sweeping aside the Grand Marais Voyageurs to advance to the Pennant Series. "Just the way we drew it up," said winning manager Miguel Chagoya. Saginaw won the final game by score of 11-5 and took the series 3-0. Pedro Olave led the way for the victors, earning series MVP honors. He put up a 3.00 ERA over 9 innings pitched, with a 1-0 record. The Saginaw Joes don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Marquette Smelters - Sheboygan Brats series. Sheboygan leads the series 2 games to 0.
